Tips to find the perfect footwear
How do I choose the right footwear for my usage?
The choice of your boots depends on the use you wish to make of them.
Most Rouchette foorwear is designed for hard use in the garden, while some boots are designed for hunting.
An image in each product will depict if it's designed for occasional, regular or intensive use.
Which size is right for me?
Shoes and clogs are sold in single size increments.
Wellies and some half-wellies are sold in 1-1.5 size increments because calf size can vary from person to person and we recommend warm, thick socks to be worn as well.
Most of all, you need to feel comfortable in your boots so you can:
Move your toes comfortably.
Do not feel too tight in the calf area.
Lift your heel slightly when you walk while feeling the footwear is secure.
Can you explain calf-circumference?
Calf size is important in your choice of boots. Even though rubber will stretch to fit, it's better to choose a boot that sits neatly around the calf without it doing so.
Rouchette hunting boots provide calf circumference in centimeters, so you can compare with your measurements and make the right choice.
Tips for measuring your calf circumference:
In sitting position, knee bent at 90°, feet flat on the floor, measure the widest part of your calf with a measuring tape.
If you are used to wearing your boots with big socks or pants inside, we advise you to take your measurements when wearing these clothes.

Clogs and ankle boots are perfect for gardening or enjoying your garden during the months of better weather.
