Take Your Composting Higher with the bundled HOTBIN 200 Plinth
Collecting the free nutrient-rich liquid fertiliser from your HOTBIN is now easier with the new HOTBIN Plinth. The Plinth raises your HOTBIN off the ground by 125mm (5 inches) providing easy access to slide a suitable receptacle underneath the HOTBIN tap when draining the liquid fertiliser.
Durable, sleek and hardwearing, situate the Plinth on a flat level surface and ease the HOTBIN into the contoured raised edges to provide a snug, firmly nested fit. A highly recommended accompaniment to your HOTBIN

General Delivery Information
Delivery to addresses in England, Wales and Southern Scotland is free of charge. If you live north of the Scottish Central Belt, on a Scottish Island, in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland, your order may incur a delivery charge.
We try to keep costs as low as possible, however there are certain locations within the UK mainland (as mentioned above) which are unfortunately subject to a delivery surcharge. These costs are determined directly by our courier and not HOTBIN Composting.
UK Delivery Times
We offer a standard UK delivery time of 5-15 working days on all our products but this may vary with demand.
Regrettably, orders cannot be dispatched on either Saturday or Sunday.
All of the UK bound HOTBIN products are currently shipped with DPD and can take up to 5 working days to be delivered once they have been dispatched.
Our delivery times cannot be guaranteed in case of adverse weather conditions.
Please note: If you are ordering different products, please be aware that these may be sent from different warehouses so they may not arrive as a single delivery.
Leave Safe and Signatures
Signatures are not required for HOTBINs on delivery. If you are likely to be out when the delivery is made and wish to provide us with a ‘safe place’ or a ‘deliver to neighbour’ option, we can pass this information onto our couriers DPD Local. Instructions can be left on the first page of the checkout. Orders with specific delivery instructions (eg. 'leave round back') are left at the customers own risk.

We send all HOTBIN spares via Royal Mail 2nd Class. Please note that these are not tracked. While these usually arrive within 3 working days, they have take up to 10 working. If you have placed an order for spares and it has not arrived after 10 days, please contact us to arrange a replacement.

The HOTBIN 200L is designed for a 3-5 person household with a small to medium garden. It can produce around 520 litres (260kg) of compost per year.

The plinth raises the HOTBIN off the ground so that you can collect leachate to use as fertilizer.
We recommend all customers take the bundle option as it represents better value than buying it alone later.

Leachate is a fertiliser that is naturally created as part of the HOTBIN composting process.
HOTBIN incorporates a sloping internal base, funnelling the liquid towards the drainage cap like water draining from a shower tray.
This liquid can be drained via the cap as required and diluted before use around the garden.

The new lid seal design includes a raised step around the edge of the seal that when closed inter-locks like a tongue and groove join.
This much-improved lid seal helps to keep the lid firmly closed, prevents any water ingress during heavy rainfall and locks in heat even more effectively.
